About Me

Hello! My name is Noel John Schaefer and I am very different from other local real estate brokers.  While some of you may already know me from my over a decade of work as a business attorney here in Albuquerque, I came to real estate full-time in 2017 with a commitment to provide my clients with unparalleled customer service and  professional advice that furthers their real estate investment goals.

I have called Albuquerque my home for over 30 years, graduating from St. Pius in 1997, then UNM in 2001 and UNM School of Law in 2007. Ten years later, I became licensed as an associate broker and began to transition from my law career to focus full time on assisting clients with their real estate transactions and investments.

I have a strong background, education, and expertise in business, law and real estate, a combination unmatched in Albuquerque.  During my law career, I worked with my many clients to plan, protect, and expand their businesses through all stages of their development. I have a history of successful collaboration and negotiation with multiple diverse parties to achieve the best possible results for my clients. Throughout my twelve years practicing law, I developed extensive experience managing real estate acquisitions, regulatory compliance, due diligence, and document preparation and analysis. I now bring these skills to the table to provide my real estate clients with the professional advice and personalized service that furthers their real estate investment goals.

I engage in a consultative approach with my clients and work to take the stress out of the process by ensuring that they are informed and comfortable with all aspects of their real estate transaction.  Armed with the confidence that they have all the information they need to make the right decision in the appropriate timing, my clients are able to truly engage in the exciting process of finding their perfect home, one that they will love and one that will help them achieve their family and financial goals.

At home, I enjoy cooking and working in my garden. In my free time, you can find me with my 7-year-old daughter, Natalie, hiking in the Sandia Mountains, skateboarding on the UNM campus, and enjoying the rides at Cliff’s.  As a single dad, I understand the value of time and money and I will work to help you maximize the value of both in your real estate transaction.

And finally, I pay extra money to ensure you have professional photography, 2D floor plan, and 3D Virtual Tour to ensure that your listing gets the maximum views possible online so it sells faster and for more money.  After your home is on the market, I have strong processes in place to obtain feedback, assess market activity, refresh the listing, hold effective open houses and more. With my clear and thorough communication, keen eye for detail and passion for delivering top-notch service, I am committed to making sure that each and every one of my home sellers has a smooth listing and sale process that is as stress free an experience as possible and ensures the best possible value for their home.
